A restorative approach in Brent

Community resolution and restorative meeting

We had a situation between two students where the families had become involved and threats were being made. Our SSO helped up to facilitate a community resolution restorative between the two families.

The meeting was held and chaired really well with the help of our SSO. Since then, we've not had any issues. In fact, pupils behaviour has improved and the kids in year 8 often ask for our SSO. They really look up to him.
