Some of our students were being mugged in *****. I called and emailed our Safer Schools Officer and they responded immediately. Their response included visits to the school to interview students, a presence in the vicinity of the school, talks to students, and support for students who had been mugged. The outcome is ongoing but we are extremely grateful and impressed by the immediate response to these incidents and concern. The Safer Schools Officers are knowledgeable and supportive.
