We had received concerns from a parent about a student sharing inappropriate messages. Alongside this, our SSO contacted the school to say that a report had been shared with the police about the same concern.

The SSO and teacher arranged a time when they could speak with the student and the parent. The conversation enabled all to understand the context and share the correct information.

It was a success as everyone was sharing the same information and there was no miscommunication. We were all able to problem solve together.
